For ISO 27001 implementation (in 6 weeks) "I would just like to say, what a fantastic job you have done from start to finish. I wish all our suppliers were as professional as you."  Danny Clark, Clarks Archive Storage 03/2015

“Kathryn Ebdon reported directly to me through some very exciting but challenging times dealing with constant organisational change. Throughout this time, Kathryn concentrated on the job at hand, managed ISO 9001 in addition to implementing ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001 for Exchem Defence Systems Ltd (EDSL) and merged the two differing management systems on site to create a single integrated system for EPC-UK (following the merger of EDSL & Exchem Additives). Kathryn was also responsible for managing the training function, setting up a comprehensive internal training programme to support the sites business aims and management systems. In addition to this, Kathryn was responsible for setting up an apprenticeship scheme which has led to EPC-UK now having 6 apprentices who are operating successfully on site. As a result of our Management Systems and resulting culture change Kathryn led the management team to enter and win the Environmental Awareness category of Essex Countywide Business Awards in 2009.”

Kathryn Ebdon has been working with the Organisation for Responsible Businesses (ORB) in a consultancy capacity for the last six months. Throughout that time Kathryn has provided a very efficient and knowledgeable service. She has demonstrated her commitment to the project in many different ways and all her services have been delivered in a professional yet very amenable manner: Kathryn has a proven ability to work with people at all levels.

Kathryn has been working with the company directors to help develop the Responsible Business Standard, an auditable accreditation designed specifically for SMEs to establish their level of social and environmental responsibility. In line with general CSR principles, The Standard covers the following areas:

  • The workplace
  • The environment
  • The marketplace
  • The community
  • Values, ethics and transparency
  • Business continuity.

Kathryn’s unusually extensive experience and training has provided her with a very broad knowledge base and skill set which has been invaluable in the development of The Standard. In addition to this, Kathryn has also presented for us at our Training Day for new consultants and is in the process of developing further training material for use on both the consultants online portal and further Training Days.

I would certainly recommend Kathryn’s services.
